Thoughts On Higher Education!

Hello everyone!

So today I visited a university taster day with my school about primary teaching; I have always known I wanted to be a teacher since I was walking and talking as I have always loved the thought of teaching little children and really making a difference in how they shape up to be as adults.

When I was little I used to teach my dollies and teddies and I would write out worksheets and tick them and read to them - I actually even printed registers each week and took it all so seriously! My Mum used to say I just 'taught dead flies' as in our old family house, prior to my Parent's divorce, I would 'teach' in our loft space, which was the whole length of the house and mine and my brother's play room... there were always dead flies lingering from the roof lights!! Ha ha ha!

Today, to be perfectly honest, I didn't learn anything new about higher education. I have always known I didn't want to move away and go to university for 3-4 years however I did recently learn that I can do a more 'home-friendly' degree where I do most of my degree actually inside schools rather than in lecture halls. The whole Uni atmosphere has never appealed to me, I don't know why.

I want to know what you guys think of higher education! Do you want to go to university? Don't you? Why? Let me know in the comments!

I love you guys lots, and I will see you in my next one!
